The SFDN or SFDNX series of floodlights are suitable for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres in Zones 2 and 22 and in rough ambient conditions with high mechanical load, humidity or dust. The tough enclosure, an impact-resistant protective glass up to IP66 and a large operating temperature range permit use in applications such as oil refineries, chemicals and petrochemicals installations, shipbuilding or other industrial sectors. Typical applications for hazardous dust areas are found wherever flammable dust arises, for example in the cereals or flour industry, mills, sugar production or wood processing industry.
